Pocket Agent
We make the harness: a good AI agent for your phone. Chat, search the web, and let it do routine steps on your phone for you. You bring your own API key for the provider you choose, kept encrypted on your phone. What you send is between you and that provider. We're not in the middle. You decide what the agent can touch and what it spends.
Bring your own API keys
Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), DeepSeek and Ollama's cloud. Keys are encrypted on your phone and sent only to the company they belong to.
Limits you set
Every reply shows its cost. Per-provider meters for each 5-hour session, week and month, with a monthly limit that stops requests before a bill surprises you.
It can use your phone
Give an agent the folders and apps it may use, and it can tap, type and read the screen to get things done. It asks before acting unless you allow routine steps; deleting always asks.
A real terminal
Agents get a Linux-style terminal with Python 3 and BusyBox, right on the phone, and you can watch every command they run.
Web search your way
DuckDuckGo with no setup, Ollama's web search, your own SearXNG server, or each provider's own search. You choose the order.
Voice stays on your phone
Voice typing runs entirely on the device. No Latent Horizons servers are involved in anything you do: it's you, your phone and the providers you choose.
Before you install
- Requires Android 8.0 or newer on a 64-bit phone.
- You pay each AI provider directly for what you use, on your own account with them.
- Letting an agent operate other apps uses Android's accessibility permission, which you turn on yourself in Settings; it's off until you do.
- Its BusyBox component is GPL-licensed; its source is below.
Open-source parts: Python (PSF license), BusyBox 1.36.1 (GPLv2: source, Android build configuration, license), Termux terminal libraries (Apache 2.0), sherpa-onnx and the Kroko, Parakeet and Moonshine speech models.
